Flo Vinger

Flo’s passion for the entertainment industry spans over 30 years. She began her career as a professional dancer in her birth city, New York City, and grew into an award-winning writer / director, lead editor and composer. She has worked for ABC, CBS, NBC, MTV, WB, FOX, Amazon, AMC, WE, The Walt Disney Company, HUB, Animal Planet, TNT, Wolf Entertainment (Dick Wolf), Lifetime, PBS, History Channel, E!, Oxygen, CW, Sony, Quincy Jones, Joan Rivers, Drew Carey, and on multiple successful projects including Fear Factor, Big Brother, Battle for Ozzfest (Ozzy Osbourne), and The World’s Fair (President Obama, Hillary Clinton). Additional acting credits include an American Express commercial, hosting G4’s Arena, performing as a keyboard player for Michael Jackson’s Behind the Mask and Radiohead’s Street Spirit music video, and placing several original songs on TV shows.

Driven by her life’s calling for storytelling, writing, and directing, Flo founded Stretch Productions in 1998. Through Stretch, she created, executive produced, wrote, and directed award-winning films such as Choices, a short exploring parallel universes; Sexuality the Documentary, an official selection at the Forward Motion Film Festival; Charlie’s Bitch Ass Hos, the first choose-your-own-adventure comedy series, which won "Best Comedy Short" at the NYII Film Festival; and LIPS, a web series featured on sites including AfterEllen.com (Ellen DeGeneres) that has garnered a loyal following with over 2 million views.

In 2017, Flo launched VING Vodka to address the lack of transparency in spirits, winning awards at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and the IWSC International Wine & Spirits Competition. VING Vodka set the trend for 100% transparency in spirits and is the only line to list all serving facts and ingredients with zero secret ingredients. Simultaneously, she launched VING Vision Media Division to produce and release all original media content for commercials and promos. Flo produced, wrote, and directed all the commercials, bringing her entertainment expertise to the brand.

Learning about excessive waste in the beverage industry, Flo was inspired to tackle the plastic epidemic affecting ocean pollution and global warming. In 2021, she invented, designed, and received the U.S. patent (international patents pending) for Pop Top Lock, an all-aluminum resealable and reusable can end. Pop Top Lock can replace plastic bottles and single-use aluminum cans, helping to lower CO₂ emissions and promote biodiversity and sustainability worldwide.

Across all of Flo’s ventures, she leads with creativity, unity, diversity, equality, and sustainable practices. Flo’s work explores belonging, purpose, evolution, science vs religion, spirituality, and desire, boldly reimagining identity and human experience through a grounded lens that allows for sharp, intelligent comedic moments. These themes drive her new novel to be released in 2026, where cinematic storytelling brings complex characters and thrilling adventures.
